To the untrained eye, loading a 53’ trailer seems like a simple matter of driving
a forklift and putting pallets from front to back. In reality, it’s far more
complicated. As part of Coast’s overall service offering, we ensure that every load
is optimized for transport. This means that we analyze each order in the pre-staging
area and determine the best loading order to maximize container space yield. Once
determined and loading begins, pallets are criss-crossed for added stability and
security. If containers arrive with improperly positioned product, our experienced
warehouse team will re-load product in the best configuration possible.
