Building a pallet seems simple enough and yet every day in the produce industry,
product is unnecessarily damaged or time is wasted because of bad pallet builds.
Part art, part science, smart palletization means building stacks in the most
efficient way possible. At Coast, we draw on well-trained and conscientious
operations team members to prepare pallets that are balanced, sturdy and neat.
We take into consideration the impact wet product could have on dry, which
products emit high levels of ethylene and which ones are susceptible to that
gas and which ones need paper wrapping for chill protection. Once built to
eliminate these conflicts, we protect product with shrink-wrap, corner boards
and strapping to protect your product until it reaches its destination.
