Color sort is an increasingly important tool, especially for our clients that buy
within our Coast Caliente Hispanic line and those in foodservice. We create
customized packs based on client need. One example is a premium chili pepper
pack, a common footprint pack sectioned into four units, each with a different
color chili pepper. For mangos, we are able to sort for ripeness, giving our
clients increased control of their retail offering.
